In that time, we didn't have the resources or education to deal with substance abuse. Brian called me February 1972 and it was our last conversation. I wish I could have been intuitive and helped my dear friend. Brian is a loved man after all this time. I understand the pressures of being a professional musician. I just wish that Brian had been able to find help like Terry.Fig Bar Inspectorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14616083832858610449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6947923590233410296.post-47763296673952424932020-09-30T20:38:18.122-07:002020-09-30T20:38:18.122-07:00Brian Cole was an amazing bassist and showman. Like many others of the time, Brian left us too soon and makes us wonder what else he could have done. It's sad he didn't get help sooner. Russ had just got a buzz cut hair treatment, and at some point, Ted fell off his drum seat. Otherwise, a great set, which solidified my interest in the Association.<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08906821368910862277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6947923590233410296.post-32964888826784020302018-04-07T14:30:18.204-07:002018-04-07T14:30:18.204-07:00Thank you for your comment. The other, of Brian and Ted, was shot from backstage at what was then the Civic Auditorium in Portland, Oregon around 1971.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6947923590233410296.post-79243130496003818432015-09-11T04:40:09.423-07:002015-09-11T04:40:09.423-07:00they were a great group, lots of solid pop hits!they were a great group, lots of solid pop hits!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03486239759829686318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6947923590233410296.post-70580331750085911412014-04-02T20:27:02.240-07:002014-04-02T20:27:02.240-07:00Thank you for remembering Brian.Thank you for remembering Brian.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
