Shoes : Tomorrow Night
In the Summer of 1978 Shoes released "Tomorrow Night", a slice of power pop manna on Greg Shaw's Bomp! Records that also happened to be their debut single. The Zion, Illinois quartet would re-record a much more sweetened version for the 1979 major label debut Present Tense. By then every label was looking to repeat the success of the Knack. Alas, Shows would not sell millions of records and tapes but more than 40 years later, they have recorded 180 songs on 17 albums and remains one of America's greatest power pop bands.
