Frankie Miller : Be Good To Yourself
On June 5, 1977 soulful Scotsman Frankie Miller's "Be Good To Yourself" peaked on the U.K. charts at #27. Miller's voice was a miracle, with echoes of Otis Redding and Paul Rodgers and this Andy Fraser penned tune serves him well. He would score a Top 10 hit in 1978 with "Darlin'".
Miller's story would take a tragic turn in 1994 when he suffered a brain hemorrhage that put him in a coma for five months. He would lose that incredible gift. Miller is no longer able to perform but as the BBC documentary Stubborn Kinda Fella shows, he hasn't lost his wit or vitality.
